REACT: when LIVE ART met Brexit at a MUSIC Festival
REACT began as rallying effort for artists and quickly escalated into an amazing coming-together of artists, musicians and performers with members of the East London community. In September 2016, we created the event ReACT: When Live Art Met Brexit at a Music Festival, a week long festival of art, music and performance co-curated with Red Door Studios E6 and framed within an immersive installation by Lucky Bert. ReACTincluded an exhibition of work by 23 artists – including a contribution from our collaborator Jimmy Cauty (ADP Riot Tour), whose Riot in A Jam Jar series was the model for the exhibition.
